Depends on the pressure. Deeper down, at much higher pressure, this is all bull.
But you don't mention this, because you believe your 'audience' - so far at least you liberal dummies - don't know and/or even notice.

Now, while it is correct, that more melt and break off from the Antarctic ice sheet edges, at the same time it is a fact, that the ice sheet grows in height, getting thicker all the time - BTW one of the very reasons why more is squeezed out to the edges and falling off there.

But what the heck, just go on promoting your semi intellectual BS.

Fact is, that while the ice sheets of Arctic in an on-going process for aro 19,000 years now is subject to melting down, the opposite is the case at the Antarctic.

Nothing new here, actually.
