MRVC sold 2.5 million shares in their secondary for about 38 dollars, can they use any of that money and repurchase some now that it is only 21-22. They wouldn't be spending as much money. I remember early this year a similar occurrence with Iomega, they had done a secondary late last year, and then they did a repuchase, very similar to a short and then covering. This may not look good to investors who bought in at 38, if they thought the company was effectively selling at a higher price and buying back at a more reasonable price, but it could help their earnings picture by buying back shares.
