Not sure how many people recall the case of Hank Mishkoff. In a nutshell, Hank created a fan site for a Taubman mall near his house, and was then sued for copyright infringement. So he created another site called TaubmanSucks, where with the aid of a good attorney and incisive humor Hank eviscerated Taubman's high-priced law firm. If you've ever created a site with "sucks" after its name, you can thank Hank for making sure you can't be sued for that. For further details, click on the post to which I am replying.

Anyhow, Hank is at it again with those pesky trademark attorneys. This time Scholastic's lawyers are pretending that they have claim to Hank's xBook trademark and will soon be taking action to protect that claim... except, as you might have guessed, they actually don't have a valid claim. For sure they know about Hank's Taubman endeavors, but apparently they think "this time" Hank will be intimidated. Wrong. Here's the XBook related web site with further details: xbookfiles.com.
