I am new to this thread - but not new to Novartis. Bought into tit in Spring 97 and am happy to have already a book gain of abot 32% (counting in Swiss Francs). Someone in the Merck thread asked about the relative performance Merck vs Novartis (easily won by Novartis - you can read about it in the Merck thread and despite the objection from someone else) and also about what is in the pipeline of Novartis after the Dec. 3rd. news from Merck and their full pipline, which caused the stock of Merck to jump. Well I had some difficulties to get an answer to many questions until I finally found the right person to contact. His E-Mail address is wolfgang.kirchmayr@group.novartis.com
Upon request I just received in the mail a one pound publication dated October 97, which was made for a presentation in London at that time.
It is quite all inclusive and you can order a copy for yourself by addreeing Mr. Kirchmayr. You might refer to my discussion with him. I told him I would broadcast this in Silicon Investor, which he did not know. However he was very specific in mentioning that they are very carful not to tell anybody anything that is not available to the public at large. You know fear of insider information suits.
Hope this will help
yours Fred from Switzerland
