China has 1.3 billion people who apparently want to eat beef and drive Buicks. I am all for reducing our carbon levels in the U.S., but at the end of the day it isn't going to mean much. More meaningful would be to start planning to relocate the millions of people who live near sea level. My farm is 850 feet above sea level. I wouldn't plan on living anywhere less than 300 feet above sea level, not because of the immediate danger, but because the thieving insurance industry isn't going to wait for the actual event before they start raising insurance rates.
