ed: If we haven't seen a capitualtion sell off what are the signs that would indicate this to you? down day with heavy volume? how far down? how heavy the volume? For those who haven't done their year end tax loss selling, keep in mind that a stock must be held for 18 months to have the gains be subject to the new lower cap. gains tax. If you believe the future is rosy and you've been holding awhile you might want to consider just holding on, so that the calendar is not reset to day 1. tm
