Looks like their ASP was about $4.80 for the quarter...That's how they managed to make a profit. I think they dumped alot of inventory at the begining of the quarter when the price of DRAM was in the mid $5's...and they probably held alot of the chips in inventory towards the end of the quarter when the price dipped into the $3 range.

This is really not a sign of much of anything since MU doesn't trade much on instinet/selectnet to begin with and it was pretty late in the day when the news came out (now INTC, for example would be a different story). Plus I think the conference call is more important than the reported earnings at the moment. However, if Dave is right about ASPs in the $4.80 range, then MU has a real song and dance ahead to get out of this deep kimshee. -g-
