To see JFK, and all former living Potus' attending Eleanor's funeral was so moving. She referred to JFK as "boy" in a letter to him while she was still supporting Adlai…can you imagine getting a note from Eleanor Roosevelt chiding you ever so politely with "boy………." I love the JFK made sure to meet with her during the campaign. Imagine needing a former First Lady's support to advance/secure your potus aspirations. Hasn't happened since? This should be required viewing in every high school across the country(world, even better).
