Chris ~ I haven't heard any updates regarding the IPO but in talking with Helen this afternoon (Happy Birthday Helen!) she mentioned that to apply for a Nasdaq listing it costs about $50,000. Franklin qualifies in every way except for share price and although Nasdaq can be flexible in that area, I understand why they are waiting for the price to settle in above $5. Also, if they went ahead and applied for the small cap listing, to upgrade would cost more bucks. They're patient, I'm patient. ~ Jack

Re IPO's in January: Saturday's Barron's 12/15, page 12 has related interview w/Charles Biderman. Basically it is the January Effect. They want to get the best price possible for the IPO and if the stock is going to be bid up, they are willing to gamble and wait. Sorry I don't have link to Barron's Online, I heard they stopped making it available online for free. Anyway, the interview contains interesting and scary stuff re positive/negative cash into stock funds and what this portends in the next months. IPO discussion is tangential to the cash discussion.
