Dave--I have just tried twice with no luck, but only busy signals. Have you checked with Tech support? I'm going to e-mail you later about an Academy issue. Till then, Myron

Short ideas

Dave--

I'm always asking why shouldn't we use the principles of TA to analyze short prospects. Up until now I haven't had much in the way of tools. After the seminar, I feel ready to give a try at this again.

Take a look at Compaq:

The accelerated uptrend which begain in April was broken(and retested 4 times). While it was reacting to this up trend it formed a descending triangle which broke down on high volume in the past 2 days. I shorted at 57 1/4. I don't see any support until about 40, which is also where the longterm uptrend intersects(great intersection). Today Compaq's news: lost 1st place in business computer sales to Dell, computers under $1000, deflation and so forth. Glad for any comments. Hope I didn't offend any Compaq owners.

Ocote

P.S. For some other great charts of a beautiful short: see AVNT and PWAV, both of which I've shorted.
