Our markets seem to have been following whatever the Nikkei did earlier.....if Nikkei was down 300, we'd be down about 100 and therefore, since Nikkei is rallying on alleged good moves by the LDP, I expect a rally tomorrow.....the system is not as scientific as some I've seen here, but the power of observation has to come into it somewhere.

I've got a defensive position to my portfolio because I don't think the problems lend themselves to short term solutions. But everybody here appears to be day-traders so I'm just saying that it looks to me like tomorrow will be a good time for the market to bring some of the stocks that have been oversold back closer to neutral.....Japan and Korea are rallying and US money is getting impatient.....Timba"s call.....DOW up better than 100; NASDAQ up better than 30; nice gains in the major oversolds! Like AMAT and CPQ.

I'd be careful about trying to stretch the rally any more than a day at a time, because the Japanese financial support package details have not been released, and a lot depends on how the world market views it.
