One of the things I thought of when I held the 6 plus was the possibility of me breaking it in my pocket. I was assuming snapping the screen over bending the case, but either way, broken phone.

There is the issue of how warranty service/apple care will handle it. That may eat into the extra margin of those bigger phones.

But near term, is how are they going to thread the needle here without having to issue a recall or accuse the customers of being dummies.

Long term, it's a minor issue. But right now it's an issue.
