This is a non-story if we are talking about people putting the handset in their back pocket and sitting on it.
I don't put a cell phone in my back pocket and I just tested it and it has to be one of the most uncomfortable things you can do to your behind. :)

Based on bending video and the pictures that I have seen, all the phones seem to be bent in one specific area and the guy doing the bending in the video seemed to be putting pressure in one specific area that he has figured out is easy to bend (this is my humble opinion).

Today this bending issue was mentioned all over the net, so what should Apple do at this point? Should they address the issue and communicate with their customers or let it go as non-story?

First off please lighten up we've been talking about beleaguered Apple for years.

Most of the discussion here over the last many months has been attempts to sway one or 2 Peoples beliefs about Apple's future.

Many of the predictions of one of those people have been consistently wrong yet the retort to change their view goes on and on.

I'm all for analyzing data but the "grab the daily Applegate Sound or News Bite" and run with it before there is a chance to see if is actually a problem, is at least to me, really tiring.

The Doom I say Doomed is just an attempt to add some humor, nothing more, and for the record it was aimed at dismissing the we released a bad iOS patch.

All this Bendgate News is doing to my decision about my iPhone 6 Plus purchase is which Case will I add to the Phone to help make it less prone to bending and where will I carry it to help prevent damage since it may actually be to large to safely put in a front pants pocket while sitting.

Can't wait to see what the Media spends it's day on tomorrow to fill up hours of programming space.
