Rachel had a really smart laid back (stoner-lol?) dude on tonight who summed up the situation which I think was right on. Kurds only want to defend Kurdistan, not venture into the territory of other tribes like Sunni and Shia. So who wades into the chaos then? Sunni and Shia are in total chaos, he said, and that is exactly what is going on. Think of the 7th century confronting the 21st century. That is what is going on! Obama is trying to tame a whirlwind. In as much as so many in the Middle east are so bloodthirsty, I sort of applaud his anger. But we need everyone in to there to help us, if we are to trying and tame a whirlwind. But we cannot and should not do it alone. I would love to see the ME calm and happy and the kids laughing and going to school. That is my dream. And those barbarians make me want to be irrational as well and just go and get rid of them. Anyway here we go, so I guess we hide and watch for a bit.
