Lee, thanks for the option explanation. I have a hard time explaining these things. Your scenario is similar to a mess I have myself in with some May 55 puts I sold. Originally had sold October 55's (stupid, stupid, stupid). Only difference is that I was able to roll them into Nov and add about 4K to the bottom line and added another potential 1k rolling them into May. If at some point this stock hits's 55 I'll still be out with a profit, but I haven't calculated the margin interest yet! First time I've ever ended up in a mess selling puts (knock on wood). And it's a big mess!
