Wade, you might be right, but I suspect something else. Other people on the thread have raised the possibility that CCG carries a lot of debt. That's my hunch as well. And, if that's the case then you need to add the assumed debt to the shares tendered to get the real purchase price.

One other thing, I don't think that one can assume that The Street didn't like the deal because the stock lost its early gain. If The Street didn't like the deal the stock would have tanked, which it didn't. Anyway, there isn't enough information available to like or not like this deal.
