Let me ask you something? Do you believe that economic numbers should be taken at face value?

Do you believe as I do that economic numbers are manipulated to make things appear usually better (and even at times worse than they are) depending on who is reporting the data?

I don't trust the government to be giving us straight data. It's in the interest of whatever entity is in charge to make things look as good as possible until they lose control of the situation. Numbers are revised all the time.

But the future always looks rosy prior to a market top.

And I am not saying this is a market top. The yield curve is a long way from inverted due to the Fed's nearly unprecedented actions of the last few years.

What the Fed has done has put the country in a tremendous debt bind.

If I ran my finances like the government is doing I would be broke. I might even find myself in prison for misrepresenting my finances and borrowing a bunch of money I may never be able to pay back.
