Are you expecting any catastrophic failures to show up? No, my point was that if the aluminum is weak enough to bend under normal circumstances that it will show up fairly quickly. This isnt like a new car that might sell 20,000 units in the first month. Apple has several million iPhone 6 Plus field testers already and if the stories are to be believed, it happens under pretty routine conditions. The fact that only nine people have come to Apple is a pretty good datapoint and it wont take long to know the real extent of the problem. Slacker
