1. I have often wondered why surplus gas could not simply be used to generate electricity and then simply expand the grid to get the electricity to market. Similarly I thought micro turbines at well sites would work. Capstone was once an idea I thought would work.

2. Sometime soon the Canadian pipeline reversals to get oil to Quebec should be complete. That should improve things in Alberta. Export down the St Lawrence I do not believe works as I think the river freezes at Quebec City where they have some sort of winter fest on the frozen river.
