“There's no harm in letting everyone have their say”

It is called free speech. Duh!

Only an ignorant idiot thinks creationism or any other superstition should be taught in a biology class as an equally valid way of “looking at things”. Science looks at things through science. When the scientific way of “looking at things” evolves it is through successful experiments being peer reviewed and gaining general acceptance in the Scientific community and then incorporated into SCIENTIFIC TEXTS to be studied by students and then to be tested on students.

Your phoney “mom and apple pie” misdirection does not sanitise your ignorant remarks and does not validate your infantile idea that creationism has a place in the classroom. Science is not a popularity contest. Iran can teach religion in Science class. Go live there if you think ideas are a popularity contest. We teach religion in various religious study classes. THAT IS WHERE IT BELONGS.

Live with it, gas bag. Scientists are not trying to teach science in “world religions” are they? Smarten up and fly straight.
