Mohan, Why would any intelligent investor worry about a comparison between a low-end, department store pc, like Packard Bell and Compaq ?? I have met a number of "first time purchasers" of Packard Bell, but have never met anyone who would purchase a second PC from them. As I have said before, Compaq is a "Real Computer Company" . Just read the Compaq, Tandem, and Microcom press releases -- For instance, their first Quarter 98 Fibre Channel Storage products, NT clustering products, their expansion into Networking, etc. Once again, comparing the two companies in the manner, is pure foolishness.
