Vet98,

Today "could" be an important low for the PM sector.
Look back over the past few years and note how often PM prices are very close to an important low at the end of a quarter.

Just a coincidence?
Even in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2011, the banksters were able to significantly chop the prices in the 3 week lead up to the quarter end.

This rings true from my experience ... had longish periods of intense non-stop work since the sixties, spots of buying and selling along the way ... the work used to be rewarded relatively much higher ... since the eighties or so it's the buying and selling that makes or breaks you, everything is about wheeling and dealing, which is great if/when you get it right but it pulls you a long way from those virtuous victorian values of thrift and industry and work ethic and justice and honour etc ... most money i've ever made per diem was in consulting quite informally [no school hence no ticket from skoolin] for people looking at buying land, almost zero expenses, free rides sometimes heli and they even buy you lunch and [miracle this->] ask you which is the best pub ... of course it was always true that it's not who you know that counts, it's whom, but still ... you are not producing anything in the food shelter beer sex drugs rock n roll hierarchy of human needs, and there are layers of unreality separating your feet from the soil ... can't be long-term beneficial for the species
