Or perhaps you're a hotheaded Microsuckup, John. Who cares what Microsoft said in their conference call? Why is it any more relevant than O.J. and him saying he wouldn't rest till he found the real killer? If Microsoft has a legal point to make, the proper avenue to make that point is through the courts.

If you want to discuss the law as you think it should be, maybe you can look up the local antitrust expert, I'm sure you'd find his opinions agreeable. I learned my lesson on that count. of course, on technical matters where I actually know something, I'm always being told it doesn't matter. But in the antitrust matter, suddenly all the Microphiles are just the final word on all technical issues involved, and legal issues too, and the judge is just a fool to have the timerity to question Microsoft's self-defined Orwellian interpretation of computer technology and contractual issues.

As I've said in the past, tell it to the judge. Or the next one up the line. We all live under the law, and you guys don't get to decide that antipiracy laws are important but antitrust laws aren't. Of course, badmouthing judges and the legal system in general usually isn't very effective on the next judge up the line, but maybe it'll work this time.

CHeers, Dan.
