Similarly, Computer City just announced it's PentiumII 300Mhz system for $1999. Configuring it similarly to Dell's system raises the price to $2149, a $44 price advantage over Dell... I don't think it has a 3yr warranty either. The price advantage direct from Compaq or thru the retail channel by the clonemakers is not evident yet for machines of this caliber.
