Beats me! I guess it all depends on how much money is getting syphoned in to this market.

As with Asian tigers retaliating, what are they retaliating against? I agree with you on the "save more/spend less/borrow less" culture of most Asian nations will make this crisis not big of a deal. But for US equities with valuations so high, partly dues to high expectaions on Asia, something has to give.
