Thanks for the post... good to see funding for schools and libraries. Hopefully we can keep the zelots from definining what is acceptable and keep the Internet open. After spending some time reviewing this thread and doing a little soul searching I will admit that my NC issues may have gone to far. First, most on this thread do not look at the NC as a primary revenue source. Rather it will simply help pull database and I am sure services dollars. Still I would be interested in the ROI related to NC R&D. Secondly, my perception of an NC is different from what ORCL is marketing. This does not make either of us right but perhaps does bias my opinion. IMHO servers are there to serve up information and not manage my desktop. I would prefer to see an NC that can "boot" and connect to the net without a server and store my desktop preferences on some sort to portable media. Anyway... syborg
