Because S3 will be a ripe for takeover rumors at this price (whether real or not). What other negative news can you think of that everyone does not know about. Let me post all of the negatives that has been repeated on this thread and is built into the current stock price. 1. Opinion that management is bad. 2. Exposure to Asia. 3. Pressure on margins 4. Missed on high end graphics this and next quarter. 5. Intel with $8 billion of cash is becoming graphics player. 6. Trend towards integrating audio and video on CPU. 7. Shareholder lawsuit 8. Rumor of $100 million patent settlement involving Cirrus, Intel, and S3. 9. Tax loss selling. Have I missed any bad news that you are aware of. Please let me know. Is any good news reflected in the stock price? Is there a chance of any good news?
