12" - 20" Pad would be great for kids room so they can be used as TVs, gaming screens, offices, training classes, airplanes, etc.
When you get that big, you can easily fit a keyboard and use a laptop/netbook that supports itself instead. It's hard to imagine kids or pilots wanting to lug around a 15 inch tablet when they can use something much more portable or productive. Not an Apple issue, but an issue for the tablet form factor from any manufacturer.

The Apple-specific issue is that corporate/educational purchasing has become much more price sensitive. I'm seeing fewer Apple implementations in favor of cheaper options, particularly in education, but also in the aforementioned areas like pilots. iPads were the default as recently as two years ago, but that no longer seems to be. Even for kids, parents seem to be balking at spending $400-$800 for a tablet that essentially becomes a toy, instead going to sub-$300 options.
