Is this the same as the open interest? if not please fill me in. I'm not familiar with "parity" used in this fashion.

Lane,
Why not sell deep in the money LEAPs on your holdings. That would generate instant cash and if you are called its still ok as long as premium + strike is above your cost. JMO.
