Jay, WS is thinking and treating Bay's stock irrationally as they did last q. However, time will correct the irrationality. I'm not sure what Bay could do here to regain investors' confidence after sharp-tongue analysts have ripped it apart. Bay has already asserted WS about the quarter and yet they do not believe. It all has to do with trust and confidence. So far, management has been very consistent and that is a great sign.

I guess give Bay 2-3 more quarters to prove itself. Then, the sky is the limit.

But for now, the pain is going to be great.

Good luck to all,

ptv

On the one hand, Motley Fool is being journalistically dishonest and cavalier (maybe because they hold COMS?). I mean, let's bring back Randolph Hearst. On the other hand, in the long run I'm not long this stock because of this one quarter. I am long it because of bullet-proof balance sheet, established customer base to sell into, House, new switching products, potential of cable modem biz, etc.

I missed the chance to buy at 15 before; I will not neglect a second chance. (Assuming I'm not bankrupt then.)

I guess we've been spanked.
