No, stop being an intentional cherry picking nimmy, the Greeks do start investigations into physiology/medicine that is to become the sciences we know today.

It is a fact all along that we humans have this vast 75,000mis of internal neural net (and brain) this is where the seat of all this experience & memory lay & is generated. That idea or sensation of the "soul" is that huge complex of nerves that create the experience of the world , which is where the philosophical starts in.

What do we know is reality vs a whole list of biases & conditionings.

Things changed, its not a reality any longer that goats must be sacrificed on altars or foreskins of your enemy be gathered like king David did as indian scalps. Once upon a time that was everything & meant a great deal, an entire economy of jerusalem was built upon these sacrificial rites, so the oracle at Delpi, as we see, perceptions changed.
