You got that right. We only steer by deciding to take a position or not, otherwise we are in the back seat.

Imho, no more than a talking point, but I do find it interesting on a case by case basis.

Again using Rons number of 447m shares from 2004, I get LMT would have a current PE of 24.9 instead of the slightly over 18 that it is.
According to the S+P report the highest it has been in the last ten years was 22, back in 2004.
