Obviously, SSI who makes NVX's D & T components is a superior
manufacturer and is able to extract all formaldehyde in the purification
process so your comment is meaningless. From what we have heard,
the NVX injection doesnt even sting upon injection because there
is no formaldehyde in the vaccine. If there was, NVX would be
showing the same problems that the other makers are encountering
with side effects do to formaldyhyde reactivation. The sample
of 60,000 children in Sweden with over 100,000 injections and
growing every day is would have generated some side effects if
they were there. That sample size is so big that on a statistical
basis any problem would have already shown up. Just remember that
the sample size to poll which candidate will win the presidency is
only 1200 people out of 200 million voters.
To reiterate, NVX has no Formaldeyde in the P part and even if SSI
uses it in the D & T; SSI is able to extract it after the purification
process to the point where it is inmaterial.

Rick: You said : <<<<I think that you would be wise to back off of your unsubstantiated
claims that formaldehyde inactivated toxoids cause side-effects>>>.

I never said that formaldehyde caused side-effects. I am conveying what is presented in the NVX literture that formaldehyde is a less desirable way to inactivate the pertussis toxoid than the way NVX did with Certiva. It may be all right with D and T. Exactly why I don't know. If you are a microbiologist perhaps you could elaborate for us.
From what you are saying are you implying that the Adverse Events that the others are having is perhaps due to the other components that they have added?
Actually , I don't care if they all used lemon juice if it gets the desired results.

Bottomline is NVX's CERTIVA is a lot safer vaccine than any of the DTaP vaccines that are now on the market. With in excess of 200,000 doses administered they have experienced ZERO Adverse Events. Tough record to beat wouldn't you say? How do you account for that?
