Breitburn Energy Partners LP Announces Public Offering of Common UnitsLOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Breitburn Energy Partners LP ( BBEP) announced today that it has commenced a public offering, subject to market and other conditions, of 14,000,000 common units representing limited partner interests in Breitburn (Common Units). Breitburn intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2,100,000 Common Units to cover over-allotments. Breitburn intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to reduce outstanding borrowings under its bank credit facility.

LTC - looking back, bought it just once, 300 shares in Jan. 2009. Another I should have added to at some point. My problem is that I am already overweight real estate.

Thanks for the BBEP heads up. Just right for a portfolio I run that had some cash.

I'm surprised no comments here on OHI's buyout of AVIV? I looked at OHI, but chose LTC as a purer, more targeted play on long term care- skilled nursing,dementia, alzheimer's. Perhaps the buyout news boosts speculation of further consolidation in the sector. I do see it as a plus for LTC. With their increased credit facility we'll see how earnings and re-leasing activities are progressing when reported on the 3rd. Maybe an update on future plans for the new credit.
I am up to a full position in LTC.
