No position so take my comments with a grain of salt, but on the surface I don't see how you would have seen this coming. You took a position as a ST trade. Looks and smells of fraud. How could you have spotted this? Was their debt trading at a big discount prior?

Short interest was almost 50% of float prior so I guess that would probably be the biggest warning flag in my book.

Looking at GTAT's last Quarterly I must say, "What an absolutely crap company".

$80.5mil. in Gross Revenue, and immediately after deducting CoS it's already losing -$36.7mil.
By the time one gets down to its Bottom Line they are down -$127.8mil.

In addition they've lost money for at least the last 5 Quarters !!

You have to wonder why this company continued its business ....
