Interesting trivia; according to a recent study
...I am MORE PRODUCTIVE than many of you (I live in Seattle)

The country's leading information-technology centers are also its
most productive areas, according to a recent study.

San Jose, Calif. - the unofficial capital of Silicon Valley - and
Microsoft Corp.'s hometown of Seattle come out on top of a Sprint
Corp. "productivity index" of the nation's 50 largest metropolitan
areas.
Baltimore came in at 41 out of the 50. But other Rust Belt cities
were ranked lower. Philadelphia was 42nd, and Pittsburgh was worse
at 45th.
Sprint hired Decision Analyst Inc., a Texas-based research firm,
to create the index. It was based on objective categories, including
population growth, income, company earnings and employment.
"There is a definite message to business owners based on the
results of our survey," said Sue Sentell, vice president of
marketing for Sprint's business division. "The better-educated and
better-trained your work force is, the more productive your business
is likely to be."
Sentell said it's no mystery why Seattle, Denver and Atlanta came
out in the top 10. When it comes to revenue and earnings growth,
information technology - a strength in those cities - has outpaced
other industries over the past decade.
