didn't have time last night to look at orbt. i'll try to get to hoen in the next couple hours.
simply, stochastics is showing you the pattern of where a stock closes relative to it's range for the day. when stochastics are moving up, the stock is closing nearer to it's high every day. when stochastics are moving down, it's closing neearer to it's low. usually it's showing you either strength or weakness in a stock, sometimes before a move happens.
that's the two second version; i'll try to give a better description soon!

Ken,

HOEN looks like a MIMBO to me -- meaning it should be returning back to its all time high of around 9 (at least!). I see it possibly taking a breather at these levels since it just now broke through the last line of resistance before nine. But hey, it could just keep right on going. This looks like a nice one for the intermediate/long term. Lots of strength in the short term, as you pointed out, too.
