Dan- It's hard to believe that they have gone 2 years without
tweeking the package somewhere. But this weeks budget's shot
paying for that SCSI adapter so I'm not about to find out.
The OEM's point is a good one that they only want to ship the
latest OS. The legal system can be verrrry persuasive and it
will be interesting to see has fast the OEMs get it. January at
the latest. I don't think Tom is going to do any Xmas skiing this
year.

Bill choose the high risk path and it's up to him to spend the
money to fix it. Law is simple: you break Humpty Dumpty, you put
Humpty Dumpty back together again. Next time you're more careful.
