life didn't take billions of years to appear.
It did take it billions of years to evolve into what it is today.

You keep wanting to conflate evolution with origins. They are different subjects.

Newton's law of motion precisely explains the path a cannon ball will take as it leaves the barrel aimed at a certain angle, and moving with a certain velocity against a certain air pressure. It does not however explain at all how that cannon ball came to leave the barrel with those characteristics. That is mostly the function of a completely different field of study (Chemistry). Natural Selection is not a study of origins, it never has been.

While the earth is 4+ billion years old, life didn't take billions of years to appear.....One hardly knows what point you're making, just usual nonsense? If anything this makes the case for evolution even more iron clad.
