Clearly the market is spooked, and the stock is continuing its dramatic decline today. I added to my position at 2.80. With no earnings warning, I trust that there is no material surprises next week. That said, it might be that the design wins in the embedded space, alluded to earlier this year, have fallen through, or might take longer to materialise, meaning a dismal forecast for the next quarters, until the major new products arrive, a period over which Read may not have been keen to preside. If I got it correct, he pretty much expressed that he has exhausted his abilities and that Su is better qualified for the next phase. So, with the assumption that their roadmap is intact, and that they have the resources to execute it, I'll take a bet on Lisa Su and her team in the long run.
