Only after the huge impact of Hellenist philosophy & also Babylonian wisdom does the Jewish mindset finally become more pacifistic, matures & philosophical. That comes in the personage of the great sage Rabbi Hillel The Elder & the simply massive influence of his teachings. Hillel was born & raised in Babylon and was famous author of two sayings both which exemplify the ethos of reciprocity or Golden Rule, the House of Hillel represents a huge seachange in the mindset of the Jew.

(1) "If I am not for myself who is for me? And being for my own self, what am 'I'? And if not now, when?"

and

(2) "That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow. That is the whole Torah the rest is the explanation; go and learn."

Your Religion & the Jews are pretty much one & the same, because both owe most all their ideas to the Hellenes & Egyptians with also large borrowing from the Persians Those two sayings above are absolutely Hellene in character, without ONE shadow of doubt Hellenist inspired.

As an after thought 'Hillel' & 'Hellene' are just so similar, you can take the cotton out of your ears now. The greatest influence on the Jewish mindset came from that sage from Babylon. You religion was so completely Hellene inspired, why when those classics from antiquity came back to Europe centuries later, people really felt like they were truely saved.

And were truely saved.
