Gods have been an important aid to humans since self awareness. I don't think you are any more opposed to gods, per se, than I am. I oppose superstition in the State and in our laws--as do all rational people. So when people come to a Science thread and claim that superstition ought to be taught in Science class--alarms sound! Which ones? Allah, Yahweh, Zeus, Adventists??

Where will we teach Science? In one of the (now) over 40,000 Christian sects. Will they permit that? Because what Christian sect comports with Science??

Does it make any sense to teach Science in Church and superstition in Biology class?? Only if you believe the earth is 6000 years old and Science is a cipher and a conspiracy...YIKES!?

Why did you comment that Hillel and Hellene are so similar? You thought Hillel was derived from Hellene, didn't you? Why did you suggest Hillel, a renowned Pharisaic rabbi, was shaped by Babylonian religious beliefs?

As an after thought 'Hillel' & 'Hellene' are just so similar, you can take the cotton out of your ears now.
