Note how expensive the tracing costs were in Nigeria to stop the progression of Ebola. One infected 20 and it cost $30,000,000 to stop it.

And that was the cost in Nigeria.

What would it cost to track in the US? What form will tracking take if infected (ZEBOV) start crossing from Mexico? As flu season comes on us, how good will the health authorities be at distinguishing ZEBOV from flu at onset? How could we stop it in the US if the infected get into high density poor areas, subways, etc?

The Nigerian cost experience argues eloquently for great diligence in policing the borders and ports of entry.
