Nothing like the fervor of newly converted black robed 'acolytes', there's no zealout fantatics like the righteous born again variety. Keep them fueld with constant combustible mix of messianic prophecy,propaganda, slogans & chants, promise of heavenly rewards, all led to creation of new class of jobs of 'church enforcers'. Especially for unemployed peasant youth but many others as well.

No little Virginia, they weren't going peacefully door to door like Jehova's witnesses or Mormons, there were vicious sectarian conflicts, doctrinal disputes mostly over verbal 'air', these religious propagandas were just new fancy mythologies to replace the old. You think your little troll 'friend' would have fit right in?
