Hey, hey....we agree. I generally dont like when brokers cold call me. Perhaps its because I've never talked to one yet(a coldcalling broker that is) that knows as much as me. Sure, they can SELL. So what. I have spoken with a few in my lifetime that i could honestly reccomend to others. In each case they agreed I didnt need a full service broker. And they sure didnt need to talk to me...but the did for lengthy conversations. I'm afraid we may irrationally conclude all brokers are morons just because of a few cold callers who are just "trainee's" anyway. Besides, Mike K is saavy enough to point out major inconsistencies where the longs simply ignore them and babble something about "winning" while innocent bystanders watch the stock price fall from $4 to $1. In my book, that's "losing". But maybe thats "new" math !
