There you go. The one true real game in town isn't invisible, its ourselves sitting on the throne. That discussion of self awareness emerging in the human primate, once we started to understand that great big world of natural phenomena could be explained, the attention turns to the world of ourselves, the world of our own psychology. This comes naturally with the emrgence of larger & larger urban dwelling, close contact with each other that necessitates a dialogue with ourselves, thru Gods that mirror ourselves.

Remember all this evil in the world forced theologians to give birth to that free will rationalization, which is the power of God. Whether they realize or intended this or not, this is the direct result of that claim, we are now become God(s) for a day. Now fallen & yet still with the power of Gods with free will, how will they ever sort the mess it out?
