Usually it's some kind of intense guilt for some horrible moral crime" Oh my! Is that what it is! Actually, I don't hate any of the "one true gods"! But I believe that the belief and the championing of these imaginary gods in Science class Is dangerous. And I believe the ideologies of these "one true gods" interferes with human rights and freedoms and presents an ever present danger to humanity. One need only pick up a newspaper. Dame Ignorance is the enemy of all the people all the time--excepting that she is the friend of shysters and hucksters everywhere. And if a freethinker could be said to have a default hate of anything (they can't)--it would be Dame Ignorance.
