Well, I seem to be right quite a bit when it comes to managing my portfolio. I am not ideological at all when it comes to economics and money. I'm very pragmatic. Money printing doesn't work. It's very similar to if a company sold stock every year to raise cash and pretended that they were doing well because they have cash, instead of focusing on growing revenues and profits. That is more like a ponzi scheme. Same thing with the US Fed. Printing money doesn't do anything other than crush the little guy to recapitalize the big banks. This is not ideological, but rather common sense. All you need to do is understand the transmission mechanism for all those newly printed dollars. I understand it, because I've done the research. Many people just listen to the biased public media, which is not really the best way to get educated. Journalists are nothing more than parrots.

Anyway, glad to see you have positioned yourself well. Despite our disagreements on so many things, I don't wish anyone stock market losses, which is why I'm so vocal. We Americans work too hard to lose our savings to the vagaries of bad economic and monetary policy. So kudos to you for finding a way to make money among the horrors.
