LOL. It's ebola this time? Last time it was a cold winter. There's always an excuse. When markets are fragile because the foundation is shifting sand and the recovery is not real, then markets become very volatile and anything can become a catalyst for large drops. This is what we have here. Don't worry. The nanny state will most likely come to the rescue and contrary to some media pundits, the Fed is not out of bullets yet. They can do more QE and they can delay interest rate hikes. Then also they have the plunge protection team that works the markets when they have to. They won't let a disorderly market fall happen. But they may let the market bleed slowly. Let's see what they do.
