"Thank you "

you're welcome.

"My observation that moral relativists have no business complaining about the moral choices that other people make stands un assailed"

Firstly, you are the moral relativist. You have no objective basis for your primitive morals. You have just incorporated them from primitive, superstitious tribesmen who invented them to keep tribal order and obedience.

All morals are, of course, relative. But my relative morals have the advantage of being grounded in reality and in the present. Your relative moral (your tenth commandment, if memory serves) about not boiling a kid in the mother's milk, is absurd and ridiculous. It probably made some sense to the superstitious people who invented it--but not today. My relative morals, on the other hand, are continually re-examined and refined--much as scientific facts are continuously examined and refined. Therefore, they change to meet the civilizing influence of the best humans. Women now vote and have a say in my world! But I still see people from your relative moral position telling the bride at weddings she must obey her husband and be quiet in church! HA! HA!

"You disqualified yourself from imposing your subjective moral feelings on anyone"

That is something you are making up. I did no such thing. However, why would anyone want to impose their "feelings" on anyone? I think you somehow skated onto a different rink." :-)

"you are obviously so emotionally invested in your hatred that you can't think straight."

You are just snapping at my heals because you are hurt. My values are intellectual. If I say I hate genocide it is because I consider it hateful, ugly, and sub-human. And these things ought to be strongly opposed and resisted: They ought (in other words) to be HATED! Hate is not a bad thing. It is not an immoral thing!

I only hate things that ought to be hated. I don't hate people for gathering firewood on a Sunday! I don't hate freethinkers for teaching Science in Science class! And I don't hate other people for loving people of their own gender. You hate all these things, because the bible is a book of hate--and all those relative tribal morals stand today and forever--unless you are a hypocrite.
